Wide ranging and extensive training with the distinct skills that plastic surgeons have in facial anatomy, a comprehensive approach, and over 20 years experience allows Dr. Madronich to offer sophisticated care.
Originally from Hamilton, Dr. Madronich is a board certified plastic surgeon and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He completed his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario.
It was his rotation in plastic surgery during medical school that exposed him to catastrophic, complex hand injuries and witnessing how they can be repaired and return function and the ability to work. Seeing the wide scope of plastic surgery ranging from cosmetic surgery to hand surgery, breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, burns, and skin cancer inspired his interest in the breadth of plastic surgery.
Dr. Madronich then completed his internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto . Returning to London, Ontario he completed his plastic surgery training . Dr. Madronich had comprehensive training in hand surgery, breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, burns, and skin cancer.
He then further advanced his skills with fellowship training in Head and Neck and Pediatric surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital in London, Ontario. From London he ventured to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia for further training in Pediatric and Craniofacial Plastic Surgery. Upon returning to Canada he completed 18 months of Cosmetic Surgery Training at the Cosmetic Surgery Hospital in Woodbridge and Scarborough General Hospital.
In 1993 Dr. Madronich established his practice in Richmond Hill at York Central Hospital which has recently been renamed Mackenzie Health. He has been the chief of the division of plastic surgery since 1994.
Active in the training of other surgeons and doctors in the use of neuromodulators (Dysport) and HA (hyaluronic acid, Restylane, and Perlane) fillers allows Dr. Madronich to share his skills & experience.
